Pre-Marital Counseling Program

Research has shown that premarital counseling is an effective tool to help prepare couples for a strong and passionate marriage. Couples who have engaged premarital counseling often report that it helped improve their communication and conflict management skills as well as providing them with opportunities to work as a team. Memorial Christian Counseling Center offers a program for engaged or newly wedded couples to receive six, fifty minute premarital/preventive sessions at a special rate of $425. Our therapists at Memorial Christian Counseling Center are trained in Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS), and will cover the following in your premarital sessions:

Speaking Engagements
Our highly trained and well-informed therapists at Memorial Christian Counseling Center have provided presentations and trainings around the Houston area at schools, churches, and local community organizations. These trainings and presentations have covered topics such as mental health awareness in the church, changing the conversation about suicide, technology and teens, and relational health in friendships and intimate relationships. Additionally, our clinical director, Dr. Lindsey Hawkins has presented cutting-edge research over trauma at local, state, national, and international conferences.
