The mission of the Memorial Christian Counseling Center is to provide professional counseling within a Christ-centered framework. This methodology is what makes Christian counseling different from traditional counseling. Our therapeutic approach is anchored in the Christian worldview. We believe the Bible provides the principles and truths to help us thrive. This Christian anchor paired with proven clinical therapies and techniques have prepared us to offer the best approach to help our clients move towards healing and a new life in Christ.
Why is Christian counseling important? We believe God created each person uniquely, and we seek first to understand the specific experiences, beliefs, and situations of our clients. Focusing on finding the heart of the struggle allows us, together with our clients, to develop realistic and helpful solutions that bring about lasting change.
Our counselors are licensed through the State of Texas and complete regular professional trainings. They have different areas of expertise and are current on research and treatment. Our goal is to provide clients with efficient and thorough counseling; we will not rush our clients, nor needlessly prolong therapy.
